This site was build as a project for the course Web Skills of the University of Applied Sciences in Utrecht, the Netherlands. This site was a considerable success in the beginning ,but once Youtube started deleting movies the whole site became obsolete. I wanted to show my kind of shows and humor, but apparently this is only for the big media concerns… One day, in a idealistic world we will have more realistic copyright rules that are adapted to the new internet age. Till then, live in the USA and have a expensive cable subscription to watch the new shows!

The End

My site had become pretty useless since youtube has to ban so many videos because of the copyright infringement lawsuits. I understand the media associations for banning entire episodes on youtube, but I don’t see the harm of small clips being put on the internet. The purpose of my site was showing how cool some shows are by showing you small clips of it. This is the way I got to know the shows myself and I have bought many of the shows on DVD.

Hopefully youtube will get many partners in the future which will make a great deal of shows available.
